What are food supplements?

These are food products aimed at supplementing a normal diet. They are concentrated sources of nutrients or other substances that have a nutritional or physiological function, alone or in combination, in dose form (capsules, tablets, sachets, vials, etc.) and are designed to be taken in small quantities.
