At the end of 2006, FORTÉ PHARMA Laboratories joined the NATRACEUTICAL group. NATRACEUTICAL is a Spanish biotech group and a European leader in the research and the development of natural pectins, fruit powders, active substances and functional vegetable extracts.

FORTÉ PHARMA's takeover by NATRACEUTICAL has enabled it to enter a business sector that is complementary to the functional food sector. For example, it markets Cocoanox® (cocoa powder high in antioxidants).

FORTÉ PHARMA will be NATRACEUTICAL's international development platform in the food supplement sector.
